Who are we

Galaxy Netball Club (GNC) was established in March 2020, initially featuring two teams: Galaxy Stars and Galaxy Comets. By Summer 2020, we expanded with the addition of a third team, Galaxy Rockets. Our rapid growth continued, and in August 2021, we welcomed our fourth team, Galaxy Asteroids.

Thanks to the support from the local Back to Netball programme, we further expanded our club. In August 2022, Galaxy Lunars joined as our fifth team, followed by Galaxy Moons in August 2023 as our sixth team. For the Winter Season 23/24, we rebranded Galaxy Comets to Galaxy Novas.

The 24/25 season marks an exciting new chapter with the formation of the Galaxy Youth & Junior club and the renaming of Lunars to Flares and Moons to Solars.

Today, GNC proudly boasts approximately 90 registered players. We compete in the Heritage League, part of the Bedfordshire/Hertfordshire area, and are affiliated with the England Netball Association.
